HEM was recognised as an official associated institute of TU Bergakademie Freiberg in early 2009. This is a significant milestone for HEM, as TU Bergakademie Freiberg is the oldest and most renowned scientific mining and ore university in the world. This underscores the technical capability of HEM, as it is an independent facility that works closely with the university in advanced education and research.
This groundbreaking strategy will yield leading scientific findings in project work. The university scientists will serve as an important extension to the team of experienced engineers and specialists and will allow new resources to be tapped.
