HAVER & BOECKER ushers in a new packaging system era

The new ones are there: clean, intelligent, profitable!
The market requirements for packaging machines with respect to cleanliness, intelligence and profitability are becoming ever more demanding. The development engineers at HAVER & BOECKER have been working intensively on the following question: How can producers cleanly and profitably fill, pack, palletize and use their systems even more intelligently? HAVER & BOECKER will give the answer together with its daughter companies Feige FILLING, BEHN + BATES and NEWTEC BAG PALLETIZING at this year’s INTERPACK when it presents its new generation of filling, packing and palletizing systems. For these systems the HAVER Service will be introducing the new “Quattro System Monitoring”, which can also be retrofitted to existing machines. It allows machines to be operated more profitably and processes to be laid out and planned more intelligently. This means the company will be ushering in a new era at the world’s largest trade fair for packing. The number of innovations over the past 12 months has been so great that parallel to INTERPACK in Hall 12 Stand D08 the German midsize company is inviting customers to the liveEVENT at its nearby headquarters in Oelde.

This article at a glance:

  • Cleanliness and intelligent systems for more profit
  • The new packing systems: ROTO-PACKER®, INTEGRA® and ELEMENTRA®
  • with System Monitoring processes can be sustainably equipped and planned
  • liveEVENT parallel to INTERPACK 2017 at Oelde headquarters

Modern requirements fulfilled with the future in mind
Clean technology and intelligent controls in combination with high performance packing boost image and profitability for producers. In order to satisfy continuously growing market needs and thus provide customers with better market opportunities, HAVER & BOECKER is focusing with its new system on loss-free and independent performance. The ideal interrelationship of cleanliness and intelligence simultaneously saves on three valuable resources: man, machine and material.
These smart systems work intelligently and save energy. Necessary maintenance works are detected and displayed early on by a thinking system, thus allowing maintenance measures to be optimally planned and downtimes to be calculated and reduced. Also the systems adjust themselves perfectly to the product and they learn from analyses. With automatic regulation and aeration, energy consumption during filling is reduced to a minimum. This type of automation facilitates the use of multifaceted packaging. It is also subject to the ever-changing market requirements and it makes a significant contribution to the company’s success. The combination of cleaner, lower-loss filling, intelligent technology and high performance packaging leads to improved market image and higher profits for the producing company.

The New Ones are here!
At INTERPACK 2017 HAVER & BOECKER will be introducing Quattro System Monitoring and the newly developed systems of the ROTO-PACKER®, INTEGRA® and ELEMENTRA® lines, which have outstanding features when it comes to cleanliness, intelligence and profitability. The new generation of packing systems convince with their clean filling – and their especially reliable performance and intuitive user operation with the new ROTO-LOCK dosing unit. HAVER & BOECKER thus fulfills market requirements and develops modular and future-oriented solutions for the entire production process from stocking to filling, and extending to the loading of cargo vehicles. Step-by-step optimization of the system is achieved by replacing individual components when needed. By using Quattro System Monitoring, ideal up-front care protects companies against long downtimes. Real-time production and maintenance information can be called up at a PC, tablet or mobile device. Responsible workers have worldwide access to graphic data via an encrypted connection. The responsible personnel are able to access the systems performance data by mobile device at any time. This allows the causes of possible performance reductions to be detected earlier on and maintenance to be planned at an early stage.

liveEVENT parallel to INTERPACK 2017
At INTERPACK in Düsseldorf HAVER & BOECKER is displaying the newly developed packing systems ROTO-PACKER® RVT and the ELEMENTRA® inline packer. Both systems are equipped with the new ROTO-LOCK filling unit. Also BEHN + BATES will be presenting its completely new CARE-LINE hygiene concept. NEWTEC BAG PALLETIZING will present its low design TERRAM 1000 palletizer and Feige FILLING will show its two highly modern filling systems: INTEGRA® 84 for filling drums and ELEMENTRA® 14 for filling canister.
Under the motto: “The New Ones are here”, HAVER & BOECKER is also inviting parallel to the INTERPACK customers to its liveEVENT at the headquarters in Oelde. The already organized transportation from INTERPACK to Oelde can be used on May 8 and May 10 at noon. Live machine demos will be conducted for the new ROTO-PACKER® mini ADAMS® edition for filling powder-type loose material into 1-10 kg bags with a palletizer, the new INTEGRA® ISF 1 for filling granular products into FFS film tube bags with palletizer and stretch-hood, and for the new INTEGRA® IOF 1 for filling grainy products into prefabricated open bags with direct loading using the HAVER SpeedLoad® system. At a podium discussion experts from the field will further inform about the latest trends.
